To support initiatives led by women, cis, trans and other trans identities across Brazil, ELAS+ launches the seventh edition of Women in Movement 2023 – for solidarity, justice and democracy.

Support will be given to groups and organizations led by cis, trans women and other trans identities, who are dedicated to the promotion and defense of human rights, democracy and the environment, and who have been operating for at least one year. In total, 64 initiatives will be supported with flexible resources, totaling R$ 3.2 million in direct donations. ELAS+ believes that to consolidate full democracy and an effective rule of law, it is necessary to strengthen the agents that were crucial to this renewal: civil society organizations, especially women's movements. To expand women's access to resources, non-formalized groups, that is, without CNPJ, can also participate in Mulheres em Movimento.
