Dialogues about the importance of community philanthropy in conserving the cerrado and the culture of its people

 

ISPN will hold a dialogue table at the X Encontro e Feira dos Povos do Cerrado, with the aim of increasing the visibility of the impacts of philanthropy that transforms the conservation of the Cerrado and the protection of the rights of its peoples and traditional communities, raising awareness of new financiers to commitment to this cause. The dialogue table focuses on the following audiences:

  • Government: representatives of government bodies related to socio-environmental issues;
  • Civil society: representatives of NGOs and social movements, who operate in Cerrado areas;
  • Community: beneficiaries of projects supported by PPP-ECOS and Fundo Casa;
  • National and international philanthropic ecosystem: financiers, companies, institutes, foundations and other actors who make or may make donations to socio-environmental projects.

The table will be held at the X Encontro e Feira dos Povos do Cerrado, at the TV Tower, in Brasília – DF, Tenda Campos Rupestres, on September 15th, from 9am to 1pm.
