Welcome to the Comuá Network!

What happens when we see people within the organization?

By Diane Pereira Sousa

Last year Baixada participated in the Comuá Network Capacity Building program. We could use many words to say what this program represents for our organization, but the one that makes the most sense is to see. It is a word that cannot walk alone, see and understand, see and invest, see and strengthen. Guimarães Rosa says that the flow of life wraps everything up and suddenly no more than suddenly in our field we are unwrapping processes and wrapping up people, organizations start to be bigger than the people who build them in their daily toil. Just as we prioritize the organization's electricity bill, we must prioritize people's energy. In this case it's not about keeping the power running with a payment to someone who provides the electricity, it's about building solidarity, recognition, acceptance and opportunity.

And what does this have to do with the Capacity Building program? All!

Two people from Baixada had the chance to dedicate themselves through the program to improving the study of English, two people became 6 who became 22. Building this possibility requires commitment, but first and foremost it is necessary to see. When we're in a network, that's what we're looking for, that's what we are as a collective, but above all who we are as individuals, have you seen how an anthill works?

Having this experience makes us want to establish a pact from the green door to the inside, none of us advances without the other advancing, suddenly chess becomes quaternity, and strengthening capacities by creating opportunities for people as well as the organization to grow is fundamental .

As members of the Comuá Network, we highlight the importance of investments like this to streamline the internal learning processes of organizations, creating more humane environments.
