Building local knowledge: community philanthropy as a path to social justice

 

Launched in 2022 by Rede Comuá, the Saberes Program aims to value knowledge built by territories and political minorities, selecting researchers, community leaders and/or professionals who work in the field of civil society and philanthropy and who work in the investigation and production of knowledge, in the most diverse formats, based on their experiences in the fields of socio-environmental justice and community development.


In this panel with fellows from the first edition of the Program, we will hear about their stories, perceptions and experiences about what it actually means to produce knowledge by valuing knowledge and experiences with philanthropy in their communities and territories.
