Registration is now open for the first editions of the Education Fund It's from Environment & Climate Change Fund to support initiatives by civil society organizations in Brazil. The funds will enable investments for one year, with the possibility of renewal for another 12 additional months. Those selected will receive, individually, R$ 150 thousand. Proposals must be submitted by August 18th.

O Education Fund aims to expand access and quality of education in municipal and state public education networks and non-formal education spaces, financially and technically supporting CSOs based on formative approaches to emancipatory education for teachers, managers and/or students from early childhood to Elementary School II, focusing on race and gender equity, democracy and citizenship.

Already the Environment & Climate Change Fund aims to promote Brazilian socio-environmental CSOs that work to strengthen indigenous peoples and traditional communities in the search for sustainability solutions and to encourage new regenerative and/or circular economy practices in the six Brazilian biomes (Amazonia, Caatinga, Cerrado, Pantanal, Atlantic Forest and Pampa), as well as supporting actions to preserve these biomes and adapt to climate change.

In addition to the financial contribution, the BrazilFoundation offers selected organizations training for institutional development, in addition to holding a face-to-face learning meeting, aiming to exchange knowledge and practices that can contribute to improving leadership and the strategic management process of organizations.
