The Casa Socioambiental Fund, the GAGGA Alliance (Global Alliance for Green and Gender Action) and the French Embassy in Brazil come together to support initiatives from community-based organizations (CBO), led by women, with a view to strengthening the voices, leadership and resilience of women on the frontlines of climate action.
The Notice aims to develop and strengthen the capacities of grassroots groups and movements led by women, trans, intersex and non-binary people to influence the main decision-making spaces that defend critical ecosystems, take urgent action to divest from fossil fuel industries and support inclusive, sustainable and gender-fair climate solutions.
In total, R$ 840,000.00 will be available. Up to 24 projects worth up to R$ 35,000.00 each will be supported.
