Through the work of Fundo Positivo throughout its operation and partnership with various organizations of and for trans people, a significant demand from this segment was observed: the rectification of name and gender, since even though it is a right guaranteed by law in the country , is still extremely expensive, making access to this right unviable for many trans/transvestite people. The LGBTQIA+ Fund, an initiative by Positivo, concerned with this context and thinking about guaranteeing this right, creates a support program for individuals to ensure access to rectification of civil records.

The principles and guidelines consist of supporting trans and transvestite people throughout the national territory who wish to rectify their civil documents, who do not have resources financial to carry them out.
