The Philanthropy Network for Social Justice (RFJS) 2021 Executive Report.

The year was very significant in terms of collective learning with member organizations and the construction of programmatic strategies, partnerships and in the field of knowledge production in order to promote its mission of strengthening and expanding the field of community philanthropy and social justice .

The Network has made great strides in developing collective advocacy strategies within the context of local and international philanthropic ecosystems to position its strategic agendas.

The restructuring of the programmatic area began, with the creation of an Incidence Program that aims to strengthen the agenda of grantmaking, community philanthropy and social justice with various actors, involving activities to strengthen the capacities of its members and structured around four communities of practice: monitoring and evaluation; safety and security, communication and narratives; and grantmaking, social technologies and resource mobilization.

The restructuring of the programmatic area also involved the creation and implementation of an organic communication strategy articulated with the Incidence Program. Member organizations participated in meetings between communicators, which give shape to the Community of Communication and Narrative Practices.

2021 was also the year it started the Donate to Transform Program, with support from Dutch cooperation involving an alliance with eight countries (Brazil, Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Ghana, Palestine, Kenya, Palestine and Uganda) and 13 member organizations that have further strengthened the Network's activities.

The production and dissemination of knowledge by the Network was increased in 2021, with the creation of publications under the Donate to Transform seal, which aims to create a space for reflection and debate, bringing together knowledge from theoretical debate, strengthening capabilities and sharing experiences.

At the end of 2021, the Network once again opened the possibility of supporting projects developed by member organizations through the donation of 1 million reais in two lines of action: (1) development of strategies, actions and products to strengthen the RFJS advocacy program; (2) development of actions and products in the area of protection and security (digital, legal, self-care, etc.).

All these actions articulated around the Network and its members continue to contribute to strengthening the advocacy agenda through support for member organizations, the development of partnerships and strategies that affect the philanthropic ecosystem, promoting the community philanthropy agenda and social justice, and with notable developments projected for 2022.

These and other data can be checked in the RFJS Executive Report 2021, now available for access to the website.
