The executive coordination of the Philanthropy Network for Social Justice and its governance team are committed to structuring the program DONATE TO TRANSFORM<\/strong>. The proposal is to carry out organic planning, which is at the same time integrated and complementary to the existing lines of action of the Network<\/strong>, with support from IAF<\/a> It is Porticus <\/a>structured through programs Support <\/a>It is Capacity Building<\/a>. A conceptual map for the Donate to Transform program<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

To guide this work, it is being built, with the support of the Management Committee of the Network<\/strong>, a conceptual map. The objective of the map is to guide the Network\u2019s actions in the Program DONATE TO TRANSFORM <\/strong>throughout its 5-year duration in a transversal way, involving everything from support and training activities, to advocacy actions, communication strategies and campaigns, and the construction of an evaluation matrix.<\/span><\/p>\n

Aligning concepts between Network organizations in a participatory process is also a central purpose of producing the Concept Map. Once its first draft has been produced with the Steering Committee, the proposal will be shared in plenary with the other members of the Network <\/strong>for validation. Finally, a graphic document will be produced that will be public and shared with participating, partner and interested organizations. <\/span><\/p>\n

Baseline on regulatory framework<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

In addition to producing the Conceptual Map, the Network <\/strong>is, through the program DONATE TO TRANSFORM<\/strong>, producing a baseline to reflect the main challenges and opportunities that exist today in the Brazilian regulatory framework with regard to the philanthropic ecosystem, with a focus on community and social justice philanthropy. Structured into three blocks: i) donations; ii) formalization and management; and iii) autonomy, the study raises main problems, implications, challenges and opportunities by analyzing current legislation. <\/span><\/p>\n

Measuring what matters<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Finally, to advance the planning of the program's learning matrix, evaluation and monitoring DONATE TO TRANSFORM<\/strong> The Network <\/strong>relies on reflection, produced with members, on the work \u201cMeasuring what matters\u201d<\/a>, led by consultant Barry Knights. The proposal under the DONATE TO TRANSFORM<\/strong> it is to reflect on what is important to measure and also expand the debate on the purposes of evaluation for accountability purposes with civil society organizations, but also for other objectives, such as impact communication and advocacy strategies. The publication about the work led by Barry Knights has already been translated into Portuguese and is available on the network's website: https:\/\/www.redefilantropia.org.br\/publicacoes\/medindo-o-que-importa<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

All conceptual discussions and debates, as well as the material produced for baselines and the construction of the evaluation matrix, will be covered in the CAPACITY BUILDING PROGRAM<\/a> intended for member organizations of the Network<\/strong>. <\/span><\/p>\n

In the midst of a tragic scenario in the country, we hope to contribute to the strengthening of CSOs that work to defend rights for social justice. O Donate to Transform Program<\/strong>, as well as other strategic actions of the Network <\/strong>are oriented towards this purpose.<\/span><\/p>\n
