From April 12th to 14th, Rede Comu\u00e1 participated in the 12th GIFE Congress (Groups, Institutes, Foundations and Companies), with the table \u201cCommunity Philanthropy: mobilization of different actors for mobilization\u201d. <\/em><\/strong>On the occasion, Larissa Amorim, executive coordinator of Casa Fluminense<\/u><\/a>, who participated as one of the speakers, announced the constitution of the Territorial Alliance.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Created in the context of Rede Comu\u00e1 from the articulation of seven member organizations: Tab\u00f4a \u2013 community strengthening, FunBEA (Brazilian Environmental Education Fund), ICOM (Great Florian\u00f3polis Community Institute), Baixada Maranhense Community Institute, Redes da Mar\u00e9, Instituto Procomum and Casa Fluminens, the initiative aims to promote articulation and exchange of experiences between territorial-based organizations (community funds and community foundations), seeking to develop joint strategies and reflect on the challenges of mobilizing resources for the institutions involved.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe Comu\u00e1 organizations involved in this strategy, in 2021, were active in 174 municipalities, donated R$ 3.17 million and supported 936 projects. To tackle structures of inequality, the resource needs to reach the tip, in the territories\u201d, defines the coordinator.<\/span><\/p>\n
