Constitution Assembly brought together representatives of the sixteen member organizations<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first day of June 2023 was a historic moment for Rede Comu\u00e1. Bringing together representatives of the 16 member organizations, the Constitution Assembly was held. A great achievement, from now on the Network is officially founded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There was approval, during the meeting, of the Bylaws \u2013 previously validated at a Members' Assembly held in May 2022 - by the Governance Council \u2013 composed of Val\u00e9ria Ara\u00fajo, Superintendent of the Brazil Human Rights Fund, Giovanni Harvey, Executive Director of the Fund Baob\u00e1 for Racial Equity, Roberto Vilela, Executive Director of Tab\u00f4a Fortalecimento Comunit\u00e1rio and Larissa Amorim, Executive Director of Casa Fluminense -, and the Fiscal Council \u2013 composed of Gislene Aniceto, general manager of the Brazilian Human Rights Fund, and Hebe da Silva, coordinator administration of the Baob\u00e1 Fund.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, the Governance Council installed Graciela Hopstein as the Executive Director of Rede Comu\u00e1. In this way, Comu\u00e1 begins a new phase of autonomy in resource management and the consolidation of its governance structure, strengthening its operations and as a reference in the field of philanthropy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The formalization, marked by great collective emotion, is the result of a long process, which is now celebrated after a journey of more than a decade of Rede Comu\u00e1's operations, since its creation in 2012.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a Network that has been growing significantly, both in the number of members and in its ability to articulate partnerships and guide agendas in the fields of community philanthropy and socio-environmental justice, Comu\u00e1 continues to strengthen its role in the Brazilian philanthropic ecosystem, regional and international, continuing actions in the field of advocacy with members, partners and funders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
